Hass avocado from Guatemala obtains admissibility for importation into the United States

The United States Government officially published the final rule that establishes the conditions that must be met for the export of Hass avocado from Guatemala to that market. For the Guatemalan Avocado Producers Association, ANAGUACATE, this is a fundamental step, which gives the green light to the preparation and publication of the Work Operational Plan by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). “The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture authorizes the importation of fresh Hass avocado (Persea americana var.
