The climatic conditions recorded in the recent period affected strawberry production in different regions of Rio Grande do Sul, according to the Conjunctural Information Bulletin released this Thursday (5) by Emater/RS-Ascar. In the administrative region of Caxias do Sul, the average temperatures were above what was observed in the previous period, which negatively affected the performance of the crops. Emater/RS-Ascar informed that, in some areas, losses were recorded associated with the attack of spotted-wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii).
