Heat Wave: Fires Threaten Crops

The approaching heat waves are intensifying the fire danger in Dobrudzha. Fire threatens the harvest of the region's most important crop – wheat. Following a series of alerts about burning dry grass and waste, roadside strips, and bushes, there was also a signal about a fire in wheat, fire service officials in Dobrich report. 150 decares of wheat burned near the Romanian border in the territory of Yovkovo village.
