Prices for dairy products in Ukrainian supermarkets have increased significantly over the past year due to a raw milk shortage. The price of pasteurized milk with a fat content of 2.5% has risen by 22% compared to last year, reaching UAH 55.04 per kg. Kefir and sour cream have also seen price increases of 23% and 24% respectively. Yogurt and sour milk cheese prices have increased by 15% and 24% respectively, with the most expensive sour milk cheese costing UAH 349.95 per kg. Butter prices have increased by 30% compared to last year, with the most expensive domestic butter costing UAH 630.00 per kg. Imported Maasdam, Gouda, and Mozzarella cheeses are also significantly more expensive than domestic cheeses, with imported Mozzarella costing UAH 610.50 per kg, which is 16% more expensive than domestic cheeses.
