The High Commission for Planning in Morocco has announced an increase in the prices of various foodstuffs, including bread and cereals by 4.6%, oils and spirits by 2.5%, and meat, milk, cheese, and eggs by 0.6%. Fruits saw a increase of 0.5% and vegetables by 0.3%, while fish and seafood prices decreased by 2.5%, and mineral water and refreshing drinks by 0.4%. Non-food items, particularly fuels, also saw a price increase by 0.8%. The most significant increases were recorded in Fez and Settat, with 1.5%, and the largest decreases in Al Hoceima by 1.1% and Marrakesh by 0.1%.
