Hilton Foods Canada, a subsidiary of Hilton Food Group plc, recently began construction of its first facility in North America, located in Brantford, Ontario.

The company plans to invest 192 million Canadian dollars (140 million U.S. dollars) in the 230,000-square-foot food processing and distribution plant. Hilton Foods will process beef, pork, lamb, and seafood, and distribute it to parts of Ontario, while also creating employment for 150 new workers.
