The Chilean market has received up to date 25,000 tons of Peruvian Hass avocados, which represents a 54% advance of the total volume estimated for this campaign. With 1,175 containers already unloaded, shipments to Chile are projected to end in week 36 of the year.
This performance consolidates Chile as the fourth most important destination for Peruvian avocados, only surpassed by Europe (61%), Asia (14%), and the United States (14%). The Peruvian Hass Avocado Producers Association (ProHass) reported that the 2025 export campaign has exceeded 375,000 tons sent abroad, reaching 60% of the total projection. By maintaining the current pace, the cycle is expected to close between the third and fourth week of September, with an estimated total of 641,000 tons exported.
