Turkey's olive sector has seen significant growth over the past 25 years, with export figures reaching high levels. In the 2023/24 season, black olive exports made $162.5 million and green olive exports $47.5 million. The average export price increased by 46% compared to the previous season, reaching $2.70 per kilogram. Despite a 22% decrease in quantity, the sector expects to exceed $100,000 tons in table olive exports and earn over $250 million in the 2024/25 season. The main markets for these exports include Europe, the Middle East, and America, with Germany being the top consumer.
