During Holy Week, the demand for lambs has slightly increased, causing a minor price rise, although domestic consumption has not met expectations and there have been difficulties in passing these increases on to consumers. Beef carcasses have seen some selective price increases, but there are no new rises in prices for consumers, except for classifications and exports. Cereal prices have risen due to limited national supply, particularly of barley. Good weather conditions have led to the start of forage harvesting season, but container shortage continues to drive up prices and maintain stock in bales.
