"Honest Sign": Yogurt Production in Russia Increased by 10.1% in 2024

Processed cheese production increased by 8.9% Dairy production (excluding ice cream) in Russia increased by 3% in 2024, to 11.6 billion liters, with yogurt and processed cheese showing the highest growth rates. This was reported to TASS by analysts of the state labeling system "Honest Sign". Thus, yogurt production (share in the total volume of dairy production is 6%) increased by 10.1%, to 698 million liters. Soft, processed, curd cheese (share 2.7%) was in second place in terms of dynamics. Its production volume increased by 8.9% over the year, to 319 million kg, according to the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT, operator of "Honest Sign"). Compared with the 2023 level, the production volume of cottage cheese and cottage cheese products (share 5.3%) in 2024 increased by 8.6%, to 620 million kg; milk-containing products and desserts (share 3.3%) - by 5.8%, to 382 million kg/l; ultra-pasteurized milk (share 14.1%) - by 5.3%, to 1.6 billion liters. ...
