Honey: bill includes product in school meals of Brazil

The Legislative Assembly of Roraima (ALE-RR) approved, this Tuesday (5), Bill No. 82/2023, which proposes the inclusion of honey in school meals in the state network. The initiative, authored by Congressman Armando Neto (PL), aims to provide a healthier option for students and promote local beekeeping. The project determines that honey be acquired through local beekeepers, reinforcing support for small beekeepers, family farming, the popular solidarity economy and rural family businesses in the state.
