Honey exports rise, but U.S. tariff worries

According to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin, released last Thursday (28) by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), Brazil exported 22,676 tons of raw honey in the first seven months of 2025. The volume represents an increase of 7.2% compared to the same period last year, when 21,144 tons were shipped. The foreign exchange revenue reached US$ 74.4 million, a growth of 37.3% compared to the US$ 54.2 million recorded in 2024. The average national price reached US$ 3,283.74 per ton, a value 28% higher than the US$ 2,564.14 practiced in the same period of the previous year. Paraná occupied the third position in the export ranking, with 4,637 tons shipped and revenue of US$ 15.2 million. In the same period of 2024, the state had exported 2,191 tons, with revenue of US$ 5.5 million.
