[Korean Farmers' Newspaper, Reporter Seo Sang-hyun] In the group catering kimchi cooking competition, the team of Jeong Yeon-gyu and Choi Jun-ha, who submitted "Kimchi with Peanut Rice Noodle Stir-fry," and the team of Kim A-reum and Kim Eun-ae, who presented "Kimchi Rice with Crumbled Pork," won the grand prize. The "2025 Group Catering Kimchi Applied Cooking Competition," hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation and organized by the Kimchi Association of the Republic of Korea (President Kim Chi-eun), was held on July 30 at Hoseo Vocational High School in Gangseo District, Seoul. Planned with the intention of making it easy for future generations to encounter and consume kimchi through school meals, this competition was divided into sections for adolescents (middle and high school students) and children (infants and elementary school students).
