Hungary is the largest horseradish producer in the European Union. A significant part of Hungarian horseradish is exported, where - due to its unique flavor - it is typically used by processing plants as flavor and texture enhancers in their own horseradish preparations. We also choose our homeland from the high-quality horseradish for the Easter festive table - the National Chamber of Agriculture draws attention. In 2021, horseradish was produced in Hungary on an area of nearly 1,267 hectares, and the harvesting works will last from October until the beginning of the next planting season, ie in March - read in the statement of the National Chamber of Agriculture.
