Iran saw an increase in inflation to 43% annually and 2.5% monthly in the last month, while household spending on goods and services grew by 47.6% year-on-year. The cost of communications was the only group to see a decrease in cost, less than 20% and 11.8% compared to last year. However, all other goods and services saw an increase of more than 20%, with some categories, such as food and beverages, experiencing a rise of 62.7% and certain items like oil and fats, increasing by 112.7%. Other categories like hotel and restaurant, sugar, furniture, red meat, and bread also saw price increases of over 50%.
