Pepper production continues to develop in the regions monitored by Emater/RS-Ascar, according to the Conjunctural Report released on Thursday (13). In São Sebastião do Caí, in the Lajeado administrative region, the bulletin points out that "the pests found have been thrips, mites, and some incidence of whitefly," but reports that there are no records of damage affecting production. The expectation is a reduction in prices due to the increase in planted areas.
