IBGE: Milk, personal hygiene, tomato, rice, and gasoline ease November's IPCA

By Daniela Amorim Rio, 10/12/2025 - The drops of 4.98% in long-life milk and 1.07% in personal hygiene items exerted the greatest individual reliefs on the inflation of November, an impact of -0.04 percentage points each for the 0.18% rate recorded in the month by the National Consumer Prices Index (IPCA), released by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Also featured in the ranking of main reliefs on the IPCA were tomato (-0.02 percentage points), rice (-0.02 percentage points), gasoline (-0.02 percentage points), and ground coffee (-0.01 percentage points).
