By Daniela Amorim Rio, 23/12/2025 - The declines in the prices of long-life milk (-5.37%), tomato (-14.53%), and rice (-2.37%) helped jointly to hold back the official inflation preview in the country by -0.08 percentage points in December. The three items topped the ranking of the largest reliefs this month. The data are from the National Consumer Prices Index 15 (IPCA-15) for December. The rate found by the IPCA-15 was 0.25%, reported the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
