Ice cream meets the soil.

The essential ingredient for Kahramanmaraş ice cream, the endemic salep plant, has been planted in the gardens. Aiming to increase production capacity with the salep plant, which is regularly combined with soil each year, MADO Board Chairman Mehmet Kanbur gave a 10-year purchase guarantee. In the Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş, at the MADO farm, both the breeding of small livestock and the procurement of raw materials used in ice cream production continue intensively. The milk obtained from the small livestock on the farm is evaluated in the production process of Maraş ice cream, while the planting activities of the endemic salep plant are also regularly maintained each year. Efforts to protect and increase the production capacity of salep, which is produced under control due to its endemic nature, are carried out in the lands of the Türkoğlu region.
