ICEX Spain Export and Investments is promoting Spanish food and wines in the US market through the Spain's Great Match fair in New York on November 15. The event will include seminars, tastings, and will donate proceedds to chef José Andrés' organization, World Central Kitchen. Following the suspension of tariffs between the EU and US, ICEX plans to strengthen the position of Spanish food and wine in the US market through various promotional activities. Spanish exports of food and beverages to the US reached 1,497 million euros in the first eight months of this year, with olive oil, canned fruit and vegetables, and quality wines being the most demand products.
