The Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) maintained the production forecast for soybeans in Mato Grosso for the 2025/26 crop at 47.18 million tons, a volume 7.29% lower than the previous cycle. The cultivated area remains estimated at 13.01 million hectares, while the average productivity was calculated at 60.45 bags per hectare, an initial drop of 8.81% compared to the 2024/25 crop, according to the institute's weekly report. The accumulated rainfall in November increased compared to October in much of the state, alleviating water stress and favoring the development of crops. However, the irregular distribution of precipitation remains a point of attention, as some areas continue to receive insufficient volumes.
