In Ukraine, there is a significant increase in the consumption of cheeses, but the main growth has been provided by imported products. This is reported by AgroReview. In recent times, Ukrainian consumers are actively increasing their consumption of various types of cheese. At the same time, a significant part of this growth is covered by imported supplies rather than domestic production. Domestic producers have not been able to fully meet the demand that has arisen due to changes in consumer habits and growing interest in various types of cheese. This has opened up wide opportunities for importers who are actively supplying their products to the Ukrainian market. Cheese consumption in Ukraine has increased, but the main growth has been in imported products. This trend indicates a further expansion of the range of imported cheeses in stores and increased competition between suppliers.
