Russia's Ministry of Agriculture has approved the import of 5,714 thousand tons of duty-free chicken meat, leaving a tariff quota balance of 134 thousand 286 tons. The move is aimed at stabilizing poultry prices, which have surged by 28.47% since last year due to a weakened ruble, increased service costs, and seasonal factors. The cost of poultry meat has further risen by nearly 20% this year.
