European Union soybean imports for the 2023/24 season, which began in July, reached 5.17 million metric tons by Dec. 17, little changed from 5.15 million a year earlier, according to data released by the European Union on Tuesday. Imports of rapeseed into the EU for the same period amounted to 2.56 million tons, down 27% from 3.48 million a year earlier.
