In the first 11 months of 2020, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the import and export of live poultry. Import volumes rose by 8% compared to the previous year, reaching 83.5 million head, valued at $57.7 million, with the majority of imports coming from Poland, Germany, and Hungary. On the other hand, exports of live poultry surged 4.7 times, with only 603 heads exported but generating $1.7 thousand, a 2.6-fold increase from the previous year. The main destinations for these exports were Lebanon and Jordan.
