Russia plans to significantly increase its exports of skimmed milk powder and whey powder by 2023, with the volume of skimmed milk powder exports expected to triple and whey powder exports expected to double. These projections were announced by Artem Belov, the General Director of the National Union of Milk Producers, at a conference on export opportunities in the agricultural sector. Belov also mentioned that the projected export volumes for whey will be around 10% of production volume and for skimmed milk powder will be around 12-15%. Additionally, he provided data on Russia's self-sufficiency in milk and dairy products, indicating a steady increase over the years.
