In 2024, Ukraine achieved record performances in its agricultural sector. The country saw a record soybean crop of 6 million tons and a record milk yield from cows. Additionally, sugar exports are projected to exceed 700 thousand tons, the largest since 2000. Despite domestic consumption being only 0.95 million tons, sugar production is expected to reach 1.55 million tons in 2024. This surplus is primarily exported to the European Union, accounting for 77% of total exports.
