In 2025, Kazakhstan harvested 27.1 million tons of grain from 16 million hectares, with an average yield of 1.7 tons/ha, including 20.3 million tons of wheat and over 1 million tons of legumes. In 2024, 25.2 million tons of grain were harvested, which exceeded the 2023 figure (17.09 million tons) by 47% and the 2022 figure (22.03 million tons) by 28%. In 2024, 18.57 million tons of wheat were harvested with a yield of 1.42 tons/ha, in 2023 – 12.1 million tons with a yield of 0.92 tons/ha, and in 2022 – 16.4 million tons with a yield of 1.28 tons/ha. A record was set in the harvesting of not only grains but also legumes and oilseeds, which were given special attention in the diversification of sown areas.
