In 6 weeks, flax has become cheaper by 4000 UAH/t.

According to the monitoring of IA "APK-Inform", the Ukrainian export market for flax has seen a decline in prices and demand for this crop for six consecutive weeks. The reason for this trend is the emergence of offers for the oilseed crop of 2025 against the backdrop of low demand for it.

As of September 16, demand prices for flax are mostly not higher than 30,000 UAH/t on DAP-border terms, which is lower than the prices announced at the beginning of August by 4,000 UAH/t. Recall, a year earlier, flax prices during the same period were recorded at 22,500 UAH/t DAP-border.

The increase in the supply of flax has affected the increase in export volumes. Thus, in August 2025, exports amounted to 3.26 thousand tons against 1.37 thousand tons in July of the current year. Almost all volumes of flax were supplied to the EU.
