Poland is grappling with surplus production in poultry and beef, and to maintain the growth and profitability of these sectors, the country is seeking to expand its sales markets. Some successes include opening markets in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore, with negotiations underway for China and Korea. Efforts are also being made to restart poultry exports to China due to bird flu regionalization and initiate beef exports to the country. Additionally, talks with South Korea for poultry exports are in progress, and the Ministry of Agriculture is collaborating with other ministries and departments to address agricultural demands in international negotiations. The ministry is also working to restore domestic pork production, which has been hit by the African swine fever virus.
