Spain: In an important producing region there are already less than 800 farmers producing cow's milk

In Castilla y León, in October there were 796 beef farmers who delivered milk, while in October 2021 there were 876 who delivered beef milk. The decrease in farmers has been 80, which means a reduction in the census of producers of 9.1%. The average regional production amounted to 94,937 kilograms per farm, the national average being 54,521 kg. for exploitation. Of the most representative Autonomous Communities, Catalonia is the most productive on average, reaching 154.6 tons per farm, and Andalusia is behind with 103.7 t/exp.
