As of 16.10.2025, in all categories of farms in Cherkasy region, cereals and legumes have been harvested from an area of 347.3 thousand hectares, which constitutes 53.7% of the total area to be harvested (646.2 thousand hectares). This is reported by the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of Cherkasy OVA on its Facebook page. It is noted that the gross harvest amounts to 1 million 991.7 thousand tons with an average yield of 5.73 tons/ha (last year's yield was 6.04 tons/ha). The harvesting of early cereals and grain crops has been fully completed: winter and spring wheat, winter and spring barley, winter rye, peas, oats, millet, buckwheat. Among technical crops, the threshing of winter and spring rapeseed has been completed. In the region's farms, the harvesting of late cereals and technical crops of 2025 is ongoing.
