In the Republic of Dagestan, the harvest is underway. According to regional agricultural ministry data, by June 20, winter grain crops have been harvested from an area of 1.2 thousand hectares. With an average yield of 27.9 centners per hectare, their gross harvest amounted to 3.3 thousand tons. Vegetables have been harvested from 1.3 thousand hectares, with a yield of 435.8 centners per hectare. 55.6 thousand tons of produce were obtained. Potatoes were dug up from 0.16 thousand hectares with a yield of 222.7 centners per hectare. 3.6 thousand tons of tubers were harvested. The fruit crop harvest amounted to 5.1 thousand tons. The harvest was collected from an area of 0.78 thousand hectares, with an average yield of 64.7 centners per hectare.

In parallel, spring sowing continues in the region. It has been carried out on 201.0 thousand hectares. As of the reporting date, annual grasses occupy 50.7 thousand hectares, vegetables - 36.3 thousand hectares, perennial grasses - 27.2 thousand hectares, spring grain spike crops - 23.5 thousand hectares, rice - 23.1 thousand hectares, potatoes - 16.5 thousand hectares, corn - 12.1 thousand hectares, melons - 7.4 thousand hectares, sunflower - 2.9 thousand hectares, other crops - 1.3 thousand hectares.
