Ukraine: In Donetsk region, 740 hectares of wheat were destroyed this year due to the impact of Russian shells

This year, 740 hectares of wheat were destroyed in the agricultural fields of Donetsk region as a result of being hit by Russian munitions. In total, 46 fires broke out in the fields and all objects of the agricultural industry of the region since the beginning of the year. Olena Rybakova, Deputy Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Complex and Land Resources of the Donetsk Oblast, stated this at the briefing, Ukrinform correspondent reports. She emphasized that this year, due to the hot weather and intense enemy shelling, the issue of fire safety in the regions of Donetsk region is very acute and important. And the main reason for the occurrence of fires is active hostilities. "Since the beginning of the year, there have been 46 fires on agricultural lands and agribusiness facilities.
