In July, Brazil's beef exports reached a record high with China remaining the largest buyer.

According to a report by the Brazilian National News Agency, the data is from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services (MDIC) and compiled by the Brazilian Meat Exporters Association (Abiec), which comprises 47 companies accounting for 98% of Brazil's beef exports. China has consistently been the top buyer of Brazilian beef this month, with a purchase volume of 160,600 tons (51.2% of the total purchases), totaling 881.9 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 18.1% month-on-month and 16.7% year-on-year; the United States ranks second with a purchase volume of 18,200 tons (totaling 119.9 million U.S. dollars); followed by Mexico (15,600 tons, totaling 88.3 million U.S. dollars), Russia (13,800 tons, totaling 61.5 million U.S. dollars), and the European Union (11,800 tons, totaling 99.4 million U.S. dollars).
