In June, Novorossiysk loaded 1,579 thousand tons of grain onto ships, including 1,484 thousand tons of wheat, 70 thousand tons of barley, and 26 thousand tons of peas. The wheat was destined for countries such as Turkey, Egypt, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, and Indonesia, while the barley went to Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, and the peas were sent to Turkey. In May 2023, the volume of grain transshipment through Novorossiysk was higher at 1,886 thousand tons.
