Kazakhstan's beef production has seen a steady increase, reaching 430 thousand tons in 2024, a 7.5% rise from the previous year. The industry is strengthening the domestic market and boosting export positions, with beef and live cattle exported to eight countries. The country has 249 feedlots with a capacity for 380.1 thousand heads, and the government supports the industry through subsidies for the supply of bulls to feedlots and meat processing plants. In 2024, the government paid 6.4 billion tenge in subsidies for 130 thousand heads.
