In Kyiv region, the first high-tech greenhouse in Ukraine for growing vegetables and Japanese melons using the innovative Mebiol technology has been opened.
According to the association "Ukrsadprom," the construction was carried out thanks to the implementation of the UNIDO Program for the green restoration of Ukraine's industry (2024–2028).
The greenhouse was built by the project group "UAKIC" (a member of "Ukrsadprom") based on the Ukrainian Institute for the Examination of Plant Varieties. The team of the institute, the Ukrainian construction company "TEPLYCHOK," and the Japanese company Mebiol Inc. participated in the implementation.
The association emphasizes that this is the first joint agricultural project within the framework of cooperation between Ukraine and Japan. An agreement has also been reached on the signing of a memorandum between "Ukrsadprom" and Mebiol Inc.
