Moscow. December 18. INTERFAX.RU - From December 10 to 16, prices for fruits and vegetables in Russia rose by 3.4%, Rosstat reported. The price growth accelerated, compared to 3.2% a week earlier. Cucumbers continue to be the leaders in terms of price growth, having risen in price by 10.1% (8.5% a week earlier). Prices for tomatoes rose by 4.1% (5.4%), cabbage by 2.9% (3.3%), potatoes by 1.9% (1.8%), carrots by 1.8% (0.4%), beets by 1.4% (0.3%), onions by 1.3% (2.2%), apples by 1.2% (1.1%), and bananas by 0.9% (1.2%).
