The Samsun Metropolitan Municipality is implementing various projects to increase agricultural production and support producers in Samsun, which stands out with its agricultural lands and plains. Continuing to support farmers with seeds, seedlings, saplings, irrigation systems, storage, and financial support, the municipality is also applying a contracted production model in some districts to encourage sustainable production in agriculture and strengthen social solidarity.
