In September, Ukraine reduced its export of agricultural products by 6.5% compared to August to 3.7 million tons, which is 25% less than the September 2024 figure, according to the "Ukrainian Club of Agricultural Business." The reason for this was a significant reduction in the export of oilseeds by 53% to 322.4 thousand tons due to the introduction of export duties. At the same time, the new duties contributed to an increase in the export of vegetable oils by 48% to 313 thousand tons (of which sunflower oil accounted for 53%, rapeseed oil – 35%, and soybean oil – 12%). In September, Ukraine increased its export of rapeseed oil compared to August by 4.5 times to a record 108.8 thousand tons, of which 85% or 92 thousand tons were supplied to the EU, which also became a record figure for this direction and placed Ukraine among the leaders in the supply of rapeseed oil to the EU.
