In Siirt, 260 thousand lettuce and 25 thousand cauliflower seedlings were distributed to 50 producers. Within the framework of the Effective Use of Agricultural Lands Project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Lettuce and Cauliflower Production Project, with a budget of 1 million 286 thousand 250 TL, was implemented. Within the scope of the project, 260 thousand lettuce and 25 thousand cauliflower seedlings were distributed to 50 producers in the city. Siirt Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Şanverdi said that efforts are ongoing to develop agricultural production in the province and to reintegrate unused agricultural lands into the economy. Şanverdi stated that the project aims to support especially small-scale and low-income family businesses, saying, "With the distributed seedlings, we aim to both increase the income of our producers and diversify agricultural production."
