Over the week from September 23 to September 29, in the consumer market of Tyumen region (excluding Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug), some fruit and vegetable products became cheaper. This follows from the data of the weekly monitoring of consumer prices conducted by Tyumenstat. Thus, the cost of onions decreased by 9.2% (to 39.36 rubles/kg), carrots by 3.7% (to 59.76 rubles/kg), fresh cucumbers by 2.8% (to 112.46 rubles/kg), and potatoes by 1.7% (to 33.43 rubles/kg). The average price of cabbage in the region was 25.13 rubles/kg, beetroot 31.82 rubles/kg, fresh tomatoes 206.83 rubles/kg, bananas 129.15 rubles/kg, and apples 175.29 rubles/kg. The trend of decreasing vegetable prices is due to the active phase of the harvesting campaign, which leads to an increase in the volume of new crop products on the shelves.
