The Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) sponsored the 15th SCTA Coffee Forum & Dinner in Basel, Switzerland, to promote sustainability and respect for ESG criteria of Brazilian coffees. The event brought together leaders, industries, traders, and global agencies from the coffee sector. Cecafé highlighted its Cafés do Brasil Socio-Environmental Monitoring Platform, a tool that ensures compliance with the European Union Regulation for Deforestation-Free Products and other international regulations. Cecafé's CEO, Marcos Matos, participated in the "EUDR Lunch & Learn" and the panel "Accepting the new terms of engagement: the new compliance landscape," reinforcing Brazil's position as a global coffee reference. The representatives of the global coffee industry praised Cecafé's focus on solutions regarding global trade flow and compliance with strict international regulations.
