In November, sugar imports in the country fell by 22.06% year-on-year to US$275 million, with the volume also decreasing by 40.32% to 437,700 tons. From January to November, total sugar imports were US$1.993 billion, down 13.68% from the previous year, with a volume of 3.4756 million tons, a 26.89% decrease year-on-year. The top ten countries for sugar import volume, accounting for 99.69% of the total, were Brazil, South Korea, India, Thailand, Guatemala, Pakistan, Cuba, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia. Brazil was the largest market, with an import value of US$1.645 billion, down 7.11% from the previous year.
