The export volume of Russian seafood has recovered from the decline in 2024.
The main seafood exported by Russia is highly processed: the export of fish fillets and surimi has grown by nearly 9%, while the export of unprocessed frozen fish has grown by 1%, with the export of frozen pollock products increasing by 14%.
Crab exports have increased by 19%, thanks to a 29% growth in the supply of live crabs, which have shifted to the Asia-Pacific market after previously being subject to export restrictions.
