Grain and Leguminous Crops Planted on Almost 1.2 Million Hectares According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Novosibirsk Oblast, as of June 24, the spring sowing area in the region totaled 1,906,850 hectares. Spring grain and leguminous crops are placed on 1,192,370 hectares (94.1% of the plan), including wheat on 675,300 hectares (93.8% of the plan), barley on 224,140 hectares, peas on 116,550 hectares, oats on 113,930 hectares, and buckwheat on 46,120 hectares. Technical crops have been sown on 523,330 hectares (107.5% of the plan).
