The production of ice cream also increased by 8.6%, as well as steamed, chilled cattle meat, pork, and lamb by 7.6%, and fermented milk products by 6.8%. According to Novosibirskstat, from January to August 2025 in the Novosibirsk region, 50.6 thousand tons of milk (excluding raw milk), 25.5 thousand tons of fermented milk products (excluding cottage cheese and products made from it) were produced—this is 6.8% more than in the same period last year, as well as 5.3 thousand tons of butter. The production of cheeses, cheese products (with a milk fat substitute) and cottage cheese amounted to 7.7 thousand tons, cheeses without a milk fat substitute—1.7 thousand tons. Over eight months, Novosibirsk producers released 41.7 thousand tons of steamed, cooled, or chilled cattle meat, pork, and lamb (+7.6%) and 21.2 thousand tons of chilled poultry meat (+29.4%).
