The Stavropol Territory has seen a 5% increase in agricultural exports in 2020 compared to the previous year, totaling over a billion dollars. The region's exports, which include grain, poultry meat, lamb, sunflower oil, pasta, and dairy products, were sent to countries such as Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine. Azerbaijan was the most prominent importer, receiving most of the grain exports. The Regional Ministry of Agriculture is playing a key role in implementing the national project 'International cooperation and export' and is overseeing the regional project 'Export of agricultural products', in line with the governor's goal to exceed a billion dollars in agricultural exports by 2024.
