A comprehensive action plan for camel breeding in the Turkestan region for 2020-2022 has been developed, with a goal to increase milk production by 15% by purchasing over 3960 camels. The head of the region, Umirzak Shukeyev, oversaw the progress of this initiative in the Suzak region, where farmers have purchased around 2000 camels, with plans to expand further. The region has seen significant growth in animal husbandry, housing over 40 thousand heads of cattle, 341 thousand heads of sheep and goats, 14 thousand camels, and 25 thousand birds. In the first eight months of the year, the region produced 7,546.1 tons of meat, 11,321.6 tons of milk, and 2,129.7 thousand eggs.
